What is Manus?
Manus calls itself an autonomous general AI agent: "a virtual colleague with its own computer". Each task runs in a sandbox, a virtual computer with internet access, a file system and room to install software, so it can plan, do and deliver a finished piece of work without you watching. It's known for research, slides, websites and apps. Manus later joined Meta, and has since said it resumed independent operations, led by its founding team.
The Manus desktop app for Mac and Windows adds My Computer: Manus can work with folders you allow on your own machine, running commands there, and asks before every command unless you choose Always Allow.
Credits or your own AI plan?
Manus is paid in credits. The free plan gets 300 a day and two scheduled automations; Pro starts at $20 a month (there is a $40 tier with a trial), and Team starts at $20 a seat, with a discount for paying yearly. Bigger jobs use more credits.
AppuBot doesn't sell AI. Your bots use the plan you already have, like Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus, and AppuBot itself is free during early access. See your AI account.
